Cristiano Ronaldo was seen telling the cameraman to focus on the game instead of filming his reaction. The cameraman felt that Ronaldo was frustrated over being substituted by and wanted to capture his emotions.
The 32-year old was subbed off by Zidane during Real Madrid’s 2-2 draw with Levante. The Valencian team stole four clear points from Los Blancos over two fixtures in La Liga. On Saturday Ronaldo was in no mood to be shown in Television, right after being substituted.
Ronaldo has a reputation of being the face of every incident that happened on and off the field. He always makes sure the camera is on him, but this time he had no desire to be the centre of attention.
Ronaldo was subbed off as Real Madrid were leading 2-1. He was seen telling the cameraman “focus on the game. don’t show me, show the match” – the former Manchester United winger arguably frustrated after another poor performance.
Levante equalised in 89th minute by a Giampaolo Pazzini goal, that stunned the visitors. As a result Real Madrid sit fourth in La Liga and have no chance of retaining the league title this season, with Barcelona sitting in first position comfortably with 18 points lead over Real Madrid after 21 match day.
Real Madrid are one point behind Valencia and only two points ahead of Villarreal. Now the main target for Real Madrid would be to finish in top 4 in order to have a chance in next year’s Champions League. With Zidane’s future at stake Real Madrid’s tie with PSG will be lot harder for the French.
