The future of Liverpool star Emre Can has been the topic of discussion for a while now and if the speculations are to be believed then the German international could make his way to Juventus at the end of this season.

The 24-year old midfielder has denied to sign new contract with the Reds and is expected to make a free transfer to Turin at the end of this season. However, Spanish news outlet Don Balon recently reported that Real Madrid have shown their interest in the former Leverkusen star and the 24-year old midfielder prefers a move to Real Madrid over staying at England or making a move to Juventus.

Can started his senior football career at Bayern Munich before making a move to Bayer Leverkusen. The German international can also play as a defensive midfielder, centre back and full back. The versatility of the Liverpool star has drawn attention from Los Blancos President Perez and Emre Can is willing to wait for Real Madrid to make a move for him.

Liverpool have been enjoying a successful 2017/18 season, sitting third in Premier League table. On the European front, the Reds’ have qualified for the quarter finals of the Champions League after a comfortable 5-0 victory over Porto over two legs.

The 24-year old midfielder has proved his class in a highly competitive Premier League, making a great contribution to Liverpool’s success this season. The German international has scored 6 goals and assisted 5 goals so far in 36 appearances.

Despite the speculations of Can leaving Anfield, the 24-year old could end up at Liverpool, especially with former star and club legend Steven Gerrard asking the German to extend his services with the English club.

With Los Blancos coming into the picture it would be hard for Liverpool to convince the German. Time will tell whether Emre opted to stay at Anfield or look for new challenges at a different club.
